As the UNEP (UN Environment Program) as just released the Emissions Gap Report for 2023, we must contemplate the fact that global CO2 emissions keep growing when they should be decreasing rapidly. The image above demonstrates clearly how far we are from reaching the goals of the Paris Agreement.

Are we being greenwashed?

Businesses have never talked more about sustainability, and it’s hard to find a large corporation that does not have a net zero ambition for 2050. So why are emissions stil going up? There is evidently more talking than doing, and for most, growth is more important than climate.
